The reason the source has put forth is related to how she's been dealing with the last calender year. In their eyes, the princess has 'worked hard' all her life to maintain her lifestyle without royal payouts. That too amid the Andrew saga as well "that she did not create," the insider made sure to highlight. What they did say about future prospects of a bond with the infamous couple, they say a 'private' friendship with Meghan 'can continue perfectly well' without becoming a business partnership, as was rumored from Meghan's camp.
