The delegation also highlighted the potential for greater collaboration between the technology and financial sectors to support the country's digital economy. The leadership also discussed opportunities to strengthen Pakistan's insurance ecosystem and expand access to financial services through greater awareness, digital distribution and technology-led solutions. Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu said technology would facilitate easier access to regulated financial products, while financial literacy was also essential alongside easier access to digital services. The discussion reaffirmed VEON and JazzWorld's commitment to working with SECP and other stakeholders to support investment, financial inclusion, digital innovation and the continued development of Pakistan's digital economy. Terzioğlu reaffirmed VEON and JazzWorld's commitment to continued long-term investment in Pakistan, stating that VEON Group has invested around $11bn in the country to date and plans to invest another $1bn over the next three years.
