Man kills wife, mother of four

ABBOTTABAD - A 29 year-old woman, mother of four, was allegedly killed by her husband in Sajikot Kotla area within the jurisdiction of Mangla Police Station on Sunday. According to police, the accused, identified as Saqib, a resident of Allai, allegedly attacked his wife with a sharp-edged weapon, killing her on the spot. The accused fled the scene after allegedly committing the crime. On the complaint of the deceased's father, Bashir son of Khan Zaman, a resident of Balakot, police registered a case and launched an investigation. Further investigation into the motive behind the killing and the whereabouts of the accused is underway.
