高市早苗首相は今月下旬に米ニューヨークで開かれる国連総会への出席に合わせ、トランプ大統領との接触を模索している。同時期の２４日にもトランプ氏と中国の習近平国家主席が米ワシントンで会談するとみられ、両国の過度な接近に警戒を強めているためだ。
