A royal expert has shared Prince Harry's remarks about his father King Charles, the Duke made in 2017, days after his uncle Earl Spencer claims in the upcoming book on Princess Diana. Angela Levin, a royal expert and major critic of Meghan Markle and Harry took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared the Duke's statement. She tweeted, 'Prince Harry in 2017. He tried to put himself in his father's position.' Prince Harry says about his father according to Angela, 'He was there for us, he was one out of two left and he tried to do his best and make sure we were protected and looked after. But you know he was going through the same grieving process as we were" Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer has made headlines around the world in the last week after his book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, was serialised in the Daily Mail. Spencer accused Diana's former husband, the now King Charles, of ⁠sounding "giddily elated" in the hours after her death. The palace claps back by saying the king "is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even ⁠many years after such a loss". According to the Reuters, Diana's ⁠family accused the royals of showing a lack of support or care towards the late princess before her death.
