Person rushed to hospital after car overturns at Thornbury

The crash happened after 1am on Leeds Road in Thornbury, reportedly outside the McDonald's restaurant. Emergency services reached the scene at 1.23am on Tuesday. Reports on social media suggested the crash blocked and closed the road for several hours. West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for more information. It is not known whether anyone has been arrested. A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance crew came across an incident involving an overturned vehicle on Leeds Road, Thornbury, at 1.23am on Tuesday morning. "One patient was conveyed to Bradford Royal Infirmary."
