I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! Tuesday has been quiet so far, and that'll continue for the rest of today. The skies will continue to be clear this afternoon, but a few clouds will return this evening. Rain and storms will also develop in New Mexico this evening, and chances for rain and storms will be possible across our northwestern counties. Daytime highs will reach the upper 90s and triple digits, with the hottest temperatures across our eastern counties. Rain and storm chances grow in a big way for Wednesday and Thursday! A cold front will move through the Panhandle during the second half of Wednesday, bringing scattered showers and storms. The cold front will stall over the region on Thursday, keeping scattered rain and storm chances in the forecast during the second half of the day. Temperatures will cool off on Thursday, and temperatures overall are looking much cooler for the weekend and early next week. Rain and storm chances will also be limited during the peak heating hours over the weekend and next week.I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!
