The project premiered on Tuesday night after Drake previously described it as a 'not so short film'. Directed by Theo Skudra, Liam Macrae, Jake Schreier, Zong Li and Glenn Michael, FOMO brings together footage captured throughout the year in Toronto and beyond. The film features Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, Don Toliver and Drake's mother, Sandi Graham, alongside tracks from Maid of Honour and Habibti. The film opens with 'Cheetah Print' featuring Sexyy Red, followed by 'Outside Tweaking' with Stunna Sandy and an infomercial-style segment for 'Panty Dropper'. Harlow appears in 'New Bestie', while Sandi Graham showcases her 'Icemom' tattoo in 'True Bestie'. Drake also introduced new music, including a suspected remix of Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas', featuring Don Toliver in a slowed-down, underwater-style rendition. Another new track with Toliver and a song with Yeat also feature in the film. The release offers a glimpse into Drake's spending and creative ambitions. He described the project as 'self funded surrealism' and 'a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer.' Fear of Missing Out follows three surprise albums released in May: Iceman, Maid of Honour and Habibti, which collectively contain 43 songs and numerous guest appearances.
