Missing jet skier found deceased following crash in Connecticut River

The New Haven man who went missing following a jet ski accident near Windsor has been found deceased, according to the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. The body of 32-year-old Jose Nunez Quezada, of New Haven, was recovered on Monday. DEEP says its police officers responded to reports of a missing person in the water near the Bissell Bridge Boat Launch Sunday evening. The Central Connecticut Dive Team, CT State Police and the Windsor Police and Fire Department assisted in the search, which concluded around 11 p.m. Sunday. Crews resumed their search on Monday morning. A short time later, they recovered Nunez Quezada's body. When and where crews made the discovery was not immediately known. DEEP says the Chief State Medical Examiner will determine his cause and manner of death.
