Roof collapse leaves one injured

RAWALPINDI, Aug 21 (APP): The roof of a dilapidated building collapsed near Landa Bazaar on Friday, prompting Rescue 1122 teams to launch a search and rescue operation. Four emergency vehicles reached the site shortly after receiving the incident report. According to initial information, two people were feared trapped under the debris. Rescue personnel immediately began clearing the rubble and searching for possible survivors. During the operation, one victim was recovered from the debris. The victim was identified as Rizwan, 30. Rescue officials said that he had no vital signs when he was evacuated from the site. The rescue operation was continuing as teams searched the collapsed structure for any other persons who might be trapped under the debris.
