Liverpool John Lennon Airport is once again amongst the top airports in the UK according to the latest Which? annual airport survey. It has been named a Which? Recommended Provider for the fifth consecutive year and took second place just behind Exeter Airport, beating all other large UK airports in a survey that shows how 27 Airports or terminals across the UK fared in this year's Which? UK airport passenger survey. Earlier this year, Which? surveyed almost 6,000 passengers about their airport experiences over the previous 12 months. Passengers were asked to rate airports across 8 categories including customer service, check-in and security queues, cleanliness, wait for baggage, availability of seating as well as food and drink. Over the past 12 months, Liverpool has seen passenger numbers continue to rise with more travellers than ever before from across the North West and North Wales now choosing to fly from Liverpool. In the Which? survey, passengers gave Liverpool the second highest customer score of 78% scoring an impressive five stars for check in and security queues and cleanliness and a Which? verdict of 'The very best airport in the North West'. Liverpool John Lennon Airport's CEO John Irving commented 'With more passengers choosing to fly from Liverpool than ever before, everyone here has been working hard to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible passenger experience. It is therefore a tremendous achievement to be acknowledged once again by the travelling public as one of the best airports in the UK and to be a Which? Recommended Provider for the fifth year in a row.' The Which? UK airport survey is available online here.
