Can T-Mobile Workers Access Your Property Without Permission?

A woman on TikTok claims she confronted a T-Mobile employee who, she says, trespassed on her property. She said she noticed the worker standing in her fenced-off backyard, and when she went to confront him, he was 'incredibly rude.' She also claimed that the worker told his manager that he thought she was a teenager. This apparently isn't the first time TikToker '@sexyandsenile' (AKA Grace) has had to deal 'with the T-Mobile construction teams, like, being disgusting.' She claims she spotted the 'random T-Mobile fiber employee inside of my fenced backyard.' Grace even shared a photo to prove that she was telling the truth. According to her, the worker had not knocked, nor had he let her know that he was going to be there. Trespassing not only violates the property owner's right to privacy, but it can also lead to more dangerous situations; for example, if there had been a pet or animal that could have attacked or frightened the worker. Grace claimed she went out to confront the worker, who she described as rude. However, things got really weird when she phoned his supervisor, who told her that the worker had already told his boss about the incident and that 'he said a teenage girl who was not the homeowner encroached upon him.' She claimed her whole experience with T-Mobile so far had been 'a nightmare,' but that she was just trying to laugh about it 'so I don't cry.' Grace claimed that the supervisor on the phone wasn't much help either as he allegedly told her to take the worker's bizarre comment about her being a teenager as a 'compliment,' something that Grace found rather perplexing. 'It's not a compliment to tell me I look like a child; I'm a grown woman,' she stated. Grace also disputed the claims from the worker that she 'encroached' upon him. She said that she stayed six feet away and recorded the encounter, as, according to her, she had had trouble with T-Mobile before, including alleged harassment from workers in the past. Commenters on TikTok shared their own beliefs that Grace had done nothing wrong in approaching the worker. 'It's your own garden,' wrote one person, 'you are not encroaching on ANYTHING.' Another simply told Grace to 'Call 911 next time and report an intruder.' TikTok account 'MaddyAmoret' shared a similar experience with workers jumping the fence to their backyard, which frightened her children. The worker apparently claimed someone gave them permission to enter the property yesterday, which the commenter disputed. Regardless of whether they are doing work or not, trespassing is still trespassing, and Grace's viewers believed she was right to be upset over a stranger entering her backyard without permission.
