20 DPT Students Selected for BEEF Scholarships on Merit

Independent Report QUETTA , Sept 4: Twenty students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programme at Stella College of Medical and Allied Sciences, Quetta, have been selected on merit for scholarships under the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF), Chief Executive Officer Khalid Mandai said. Congratulating the successful students and their parents, Mandai said expanding access to higher education for talented and deserving youth remained a key priority of BEEF. He said the fund's scholarship programmes were enabling students from across Balochistan to continue their studies despite financial challenges. The 20 selected students are from Quetta, Kachhi, Killa Abdullah, Pishin and Zhob and are enrolled in academic sessions 2021-25/26, 2022-26/27, 2023-27/28 and 2024-28/29. The recipients include students from the second, third, fourth and fifth semesters. The BEEF chief executive said efforts were being pursued to broaden opportunities for higher education and promote merit among students across the province. He added that the organization was continuing to assist deserving students through different scholarship initiatives. Mandai described investment in education as an investment in Balochistan's future, stressing that financial difficulties should not deprive talented young people of the opportunity to pursue higher education and develop their abilities. He encouraged the scholarship recipients to remain focused on their studies, strengthen their academic capabilities and pursue their educational goals with dedication and determination. The BEEF chief executive expressed confidence that the students would use the opportunity effectively and contribute to the future development and prosperity of Balochistan.
