BENTON COUNTY, Wash. - Air support resources have been requested for the Berrian Fire that sparked at around 9:42 a.m. across the Columbia River from Hat Rock State Park on Monday, according to Benton County Fire District 1. BCFD 1 said crops are currently threatened, but no structures. The fire was described as a pair of natural cover fires about a half mile apart from each other. The public is also warned not to fly any drones in or around the area.
