Oxfam America ranks SC, NC near bottom for ‘Best States to Work in U.S. 2026′

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Oxfam America ranked South Carolina and North Carolina low on its 'Best States to Work in the U.S. 2026' list released on Sept. 1. The list covers all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. Oxfam America said the scores take into account wage policies, worker protections and the right to organize.
