Man killed in early morning shooting near Hyattsville identified

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A 33-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting early Sunday morning in an unincorporated area of Hyattsville, according to Prince George's County police. Investigators were called to the 2200 block of Lewisdale Drive just after 4 a.m. RELATED | Man found shot to death inside vehicle on Lewisdale Drive in Hyattsville There, officers said they found Brian Vasquez Rodriguez of Adelphi in the driver's seat of his vehicle with a gunshot wound. Police said they attempted to help him, but he died at the scene. Investigators did not say what led to the shooting or who may be responsible.
