ECHL: Kalamazoo Wings Sign Adam Pitters, Bring Back Cam Knuble

The Kalamazoo Wings have announced that they've signed forward Adam Pitters and re-signed Cam Knuble for the 2026-27 season. In 102 games with Tahoe, he had eight goals and 25 assists for 33 points. He has an assist over the course of six career Kelly Cup Playoff games. The Grosse Pointe, Michigan, saw eight games in the SPHL at the end of the 2023-24 season with the Fayetteville Marksmen, where he had two goals and eight assists for 10 points, while adding an assist in both of the playoff games he played in. Prior to going pro, Pitters spent parts of three seasons in the NAHL with the Aberdeen Wings, where he had 27 goals and 48 assists for 75 points in 116 games. He would add seven goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 28 playoff games and won a Robertson Cup with Aberdeen in 2019. Pitters would then head to the NCAA, where he spent his first four years of eligibility at Bowling Green State University. Over the course of 102 games with the Falcons, he put up six goals and 17 assists for 23 points before transferring to Long Island University for his final year of eligibility. In 31 games with the Sharks, he had five goals and five assists for 10 points. Knuble, 26, is coming off his rookie season, where he had two goals and four assists for six points in 43 games with the K-Wings. Prior to going pro, the Grand Rapids, Michigan, native spent three years in the USHL. He began his junior career with the Des Moines Buccaneers, where he had a goal and an assist in 19 games before joining the Muskegon Lumberjacks. During his time with the Lumberjacks, he had seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 98 games. He also played in six playoff games in 2019. Knuble would then head to the NCAA, where he spent five years at the University of Western Michigan. Over the course of his NCAA career, Knuble put up seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 113 games while winning a National Championship during his final year of eligibility.
