Ron Baron explains why Elon Musk is a major U.S. job creator
American investor Ron Baron has praised Elon Musk for his role in creating jobs across the United States, highlighting the workforce expansion driven by his businesses.
During a November 6 interview, Baron Capital CEO Ron Baron underscored Musk's rigorous work ethic and his strategic impact on American industrialization through large-scale initiative.
He pointed to the $16.8 billion Terafab chip megafactory in Texas, and Musk's space-based centers launching from 2027 to power AI needs. Baron dismissed political probes saying Musk has done nothing wrong, and focused on the job creation stemming from Tesla and SpaceX.
'He's the biggest job creator in the country. And you have people who are speaking against him and all he cares about is, you know, why does he work all these different hours, crazy hours and sleep four or five hours a night.'
'He has been responsible for reindustrializing our country. And so it'd be a bad thing if we were in America reliant on silicon, only coming from Taiwan. He's probably the only person in this country who is able to build things at scale, at attractive prices. Only one.'
'Talking about Terafab. That happens to be a hundred million square foot building. He's the only way to build these things at scale. And when he does that, that's job creation. He's creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and making not just making people more successful and giving them a better life, but hundreds of thousands of jobs, millions of jobs, he continued.'
