SIFC launches ticketing hub to strengthen investor facilitation

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has launched a ticketing hub, a centralised digital platform designed to make the handling of investor queries and requests faster, more coordinated and transparent. The hub provides a structured digital channel through which investors can raise queries, submit requests and track their progress, bringing different stages of investor facilitation into a single coordinated system, read a statement. The platform supports systematic processing and follow-up, enabling requests to be monitored from initiation through subsequent stages of engagement, it said. 'The system provides a clear and structured workflow for handling queries, helping ensure that investor concerns are appropriately communicated and followed up through the relevant channels. 'By bringing investor requests onto one coordinated platform, the ticketing hub strengthens case tracking, improves visibility of request status and supports more responsive follow-up. It also provides a convenient mechanism for investors to remain informed about the progress of their submitted requests,' it said. A day ago, Jamil Qureshi, Secretary SIFC, while briefing the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Division, informed that the SIFC has developed an investment pipeline worth approximately $40 billion across key sectors, including industry, oil and gas, railways, roads, power, telecom, IT, pharmaceuticals, tourism and agriculture. The committee termed the exports target of $60 billion by 2030 unrealistic on account of high input costs, including gas and electricity prices, tight monetary policy and high taxation. SIFC informed the committee that the prime minister has directed that stalled and delayed projects involving the UAE and other countries be actively pursued and brought to a stage of implementation through enhanced coordination and facilitation.
