Lili Reinhart serves new dose of 2000s magic with Brittany Murphy tribute

Lili Reinhart keeps the 2000s rom-com magic alive with her latest tribute. Making her The Love Hypothesis press tour a little special, the Riverdale alum continued to add more fashion homage. After bringing back Sandra Bullock's Miss Congeniality era, the 30-year-old now mirrored Brittany Murphy's Uptown Girls look. On Monday, September 21, she shared photos of herself recreating late Murphy's memorable look from the 2003 film. The centerpiece was a sparkling Blumarine Spring/Summer 2002 floral dress, covered in pink flowers and delicate green leaves. The Hal & Harper actress paired the shimmering number with floral-embellished strappy heels and even styled her hair to echo Murphy's original look. 'I don't see any grownups around here,' she playfully captioned the post, referencing one of Uptown Girls' memorable lines. The Forbidden Fruits star then revealed that the dress had been a fashion fantasy of hers since childhood. 'A genuine dream dress since the day I first saw it when I was seven years old,' she penned, adding that Murphy's portrayal of Molly Gunn and the way she wore the dress made the look unforgettable. The Murphy tribute is the latest stop on what has essentially become Lili's rom-com fashion time machine while promoting The Love Hypothesis.
