ORLANDO, Fla. — We are tracking more rain and thunderstorms across central Florida over the next few days. The main threats will be heavy rain, wind gusts of 40 mph and frequent lightning. Monday Evening WX Report We are tracking more rain and thunderstorms across central Florida over the next few days. This is thanks to a cold front that has stalled just to the north of central Florida. Since we are on the south side of this front, there is more moisture available for the seabreeze storms to feed on in the latter halves of the day. This is why heavy rain is the biggest threat. We are seeing moisture come in from three directions, and pockets of heavy rain will continue to dominate our area through the middle of this week. Monday Evening WX Report We are tracking more rain and thunderstorms across central Florida over the next few days. Some locations could see as much as three to four inches of rain between tonight and the end of Wednesday. The strongest severe storms cannot be ruled out, especially along the Atlantic coast. High temperatures will not be impacted by this front. All of central Florida will continue to see afternoon high temperatures in the low 90s over the next week.
