EXTENDAM has announced the acquisition of the ibis Paris Père Lachaise, a 3-star, 31-room property in the 11th arrondissement of the French capital, alongside its operating partner KER Hospitality. The deal forms part of the group's strategy of investing in Parisian hotel assets that offer a prime location and untapped optimisation potential. A renovated asset on the doorstep of Père Lachaise Located at 80 rue de la Folie Régnault, the hotel comprises 31 rooms, complemented by a breakfast room, a bar area and a snacking offer. The property underwent a full renovation in 2023, followed by a facade renewal in 2025. This dual programme of works places the hotel in a new phase of its development, with several value-creation levers already identified by EXTENDAM and its operating partner. A strategic location in eastern Paris The ibis Paris Père Lachaise benefits from direct access to Père Lachaise metro station, 280 metres away, which itself connects to lines 2 and 3. This link provides quick access to the capital's main tourist and business districts, as well as its major railway stations. The hotel sits in the immediate vicinity of Père Lachaise cemetery, one of Paris's most iconic cultural and historic sites, and just minutes from the Oberkampf and Bastille neighbourhoods, known for their dense concentration of restaurants, shops and cultural venues. It occupies a hotel environment made up mainly of small independent properties, in a Parisian district where acquisition opportunities remain scarce. A commercial and operational optimisation strategy Value creation will rest in particular on optimising the hotel's commercial performance, drawing on the revenue management expertise of KER Hospitality's teams. EXTENDAM also plans to bring certain functions in-house and share them with the other properties operated by the group. Bertrand Pullès @ credit linkedin Bertrand Pullès of EXTENDAM said the acquisition allows the group to strengthen its presence in a particularly dynamic Parisian district where hotel transactions remain rare. He noted that the ibis Paris Père Lachaise brings together several characteristics the group looks for: a quality location, a recently renovated property, and clearly identified optimisation levers. He added that EXTENDAM was also delighted to carry out this latest transaction alongside KER Hospitality, a trusted partner with which it has built a strong relationship and a significant hotel portfolio over the years. Olivier Berthaud @ credit linkedIn Claude-André Deschamps and Olivier Berthaud, managing directors of KER Hospitality, said they were delighted to continue their development in Paris alongside EXTENDAM. They described the ibis Père Lachaise as a quality, ideally located asset, adding that they were confident of being able to fully unlock its potential thanks to their teams' expertise and their knowledge of the Parisian market. Another deal in EXTENDAM's Paris-region portfolio This acquisition adds to a series of transactions carried out in recent months by EXTENDAM and KER Hospitality in the Paris region, with the duo having notably driven the opening of an ibis Budget in Normandy and signed a 209-room TRIBE project in the 20th arrondissement of the capital. EXTENDAM is thereby confirming its foothold in the Paris region, as part of a wider pan-European development strategy combining acquisitions, refurbishments and openings across the economy and midscale segments. With this latest deal, EXTENDAM is positioning itself on a recently renovated Parisian hotel asset that benefits from a prime location and potential for improved operating performance.
