Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Friday expressed grave concerns over the health of party founder Imran Khan, insisting that there would be no compromise on his medical treatment and calling for the immediate implementation of a Supreme Court order directing his transfer to a hospital.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament House in Islamabad, Gohar said the
reports
emerging about Imran's health were concerning and had heightened anxiety within the party and among the public.
"The reports that are coming about Imran's health are not encouraging, and our party and the entire nation are worried about this. Imran's health is our foremost priority, and there will be no compromise on it," he said.
Gohar further said he had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking implementation of its
August 18
order, which directed that Imran be transferred to a hospital for medical treatment and that a medical board be constituted to oversee his care. He added that he had also requested an early hearing of the petition.

He added that Barrister Salman Safdar had recently met Imran at Adiala jail, where they discussed legal matters concerning his cases and the PTI founder conveyed some instructions.
"The long march is now over, the provincial government is gone, nothing is happening in parliament, now political tensions should be reduced, and this matter regarding Imran's health should be resolved now," he stated.
The PTI chairman further said Imran had been unjustly imprisoned for the past three-and-a-half years in what he described as politically motivated and baseless cases.
He termed it inhumane to keep him behind bars while denying him access to basic healthcare and restricting meetings with his family members and lawyers.
Gohar demanded that Imran's personal doctors be allowed to examine him and called for the release of his sisters, who he said were also incarcerated.

PTI seeks Imran's immediate transfer to Shifa International Hospital over renewed blood pressure concerns
The remarks came amid renewed concerns within the PTI over Imran's health.
On Wednesday, the party had demanded his immediate transfer to
Shifa International Hospital
for independent medical treatment under the supervision of his personal physicians, after reports that his blood pressure had reached 192 in recent days.
The concerns followed a meeting between Imran and his lawyer at Adiala jail on November 2, during which the former prime minister reportedly conveyed concerns about his health.
After the meeting, Imran's sister Rubina Khan said her brother had told his lawyer that his blood pressure had risen to 192. She also alleged that he had accused the authorities of failing to provide him with proper medical treatment.
She further said the Supreme Court's order requiring Imran's immediate transfer to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment had not been implemented.

PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram also
expressed
concern over repeated fluctuations in Imran's blood pressure, saying the state and the nation were responsible for protecting his health.
He accused the government of endangering the life and fundamental rights of the country's most popular political leader by denying him adequate medical facilities, access to his family and treatment of his choice.
Akram called for the immediate implementation of the August 18 order and demanded that Imran be transferred to Shifa International Hospital for treatment by his personal and family-appointed doctors.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court has allowed Imran to meet his family members, lawyers and other associates twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
However, despite repeated court orders directing the authorities to facilitate these meetings, access to the former prime minister by his family and party leaders has remained largely restricted in recent months.
