APHC chair calls for renewed national unity

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) senior leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman Altaf Ahmed Bhat has called for renewed national unity, stronger international advocacy and collective efforts to keep the Kashmir dispute at the forefront of political and diplomatic priorities. The leader expressed these views at a dinner he hosted in honour of distinguished overseas Kashmiri leaders Sardar Zarif Khan, Sardar Zulfiqar Roshan and Irfan-ul-Hassan, attended by prominent Hurriyat representatives, political leaders, journalists, business personalities and members of civil society. Speaking on the occasion, Altaf Ahmed Bhat paid glowing tribute to Sardar Zarif Khan and his colleagues for their longstanding contributions to the Kashmir cause. He particularly appreciated Zarif Khan's dedication and perseverance in continuing his international advocacy despite health challenges, describing his commitment as an inspiration for younger generations.
