vivo appears to be preparing another affordable 5G smartphone under its Y-series, with a fresh leak revealing nearly the entire specification sheet, color options, and design of the upcoming vivo Y31T 5G ahead of its official unveiling. The device is expected to build on the vivo Y31 5G formula by retaining an entry-level Snapdragon platform while introducing a substantially larger battery and other durability-focused upgrades. The existing vivo Y31 5G uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 6,500mAh battery, and 44W charging. According to the leaked information, the vivo Y31T 5G will also be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, an octa-core chipset whose performance cores can reach speeds of up to 2.2GHz. The phone is tipped to arrive with three memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB with 128GB, and 6GB with 256GB. Storage is said to use the UFS 2.2 standard. That positioning suggests vivo is prioritizing 5G connectivity, battery life, and durability over premium processing power in an effort to keep the handset within the lower end of the 5G market. Perhaps the biggest upgrade reported for the vivo Y31T is its battery. The handset is tipped to carry a massive 7,200mAh battery paired with 44W wired charging. That would represent a sizeable increase over the 6,500mAh battery found in the vivo Y31 5G, while retaining the same charging power. Despite the larger battery, the Y31T is reported to measure approximately 8.39mm thick, suggesting vivo may be attempting to combine unusually high battery capacity with a relatively manageable body. Durability could also become one of its selling points. The leaked specifications point to IP66 and IP68 ratings for protection against dust and water. The preceding vivo Y31 5G already places considerable emphasis on durability, with vivo officially advertising IP68 and higher-level water and dust resistance in several markets. On the front, the vivo Y31T 5G is expected to feature a 6.75-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of around 720p. That means buyers should not expect an AMOLED panel or particularly high pixel density. However, the leak claims that the display can reach around 1,250 nits in high-brightness mode, which would be a notable figure for an LCD in this price segment. The report does not specify the refresh rate, leaving one potentially important detail unresolved ahead of launch. For comparison, the vivo Y31 5G also uses an HD+ LCD display, reinforcing the impression that the Y31T will focus more heavily on battery capacity and connectivity than display resolution. Photography hardware is expected to remain relatively straightforward. The vivo Y31T 5G is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a secondary depth sensor, while an 8-megapixel front camera will handle selfies and video calls. That configuration would again closely resemble the Y31 5G, which officially features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. On the software side, the upcoming handset is expected to ship with Android 16, although the exact software skin may vary by market. The leak points to OriginOS 6, but vivo typically uses different software configurations across regions. Leaked imagery has reportedly shown the handset in a Seashore Green finish, while two additional options — Crimson Red and Gold Mist — are also expected. If accurate, the three finishes would give the Y31T a broader colour selection than its predecessor in some markets, where the Y31 5G is officially offered in combinations including green, red and purple depending on region. Expected vivo Y31T 5G Price & Launch date in Pakistan vivo has not announced an official price for the Y31T 5G, and there is currently no confirmed Pakistan listing. However, the leaked positioning of the device, its Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, and comparison with similarly positioned large-battery smartphones suggest that the vivo Y31T 5G could be priced between Rs 60,000 and 70,000 in Pakistan if it is officially introduced locally. The lower-capacity 4GB + 128GB version could fall toward the bottom of that range, while the 6GB + 256GB model would likely command a premium. The estimate should be treated cautiously. For context, vivo launched the Y31 5G series in India in September 2025, while official vivo listings show the predecessor with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 4GB/6GB RAM configurations and up to 256GB of storage. Pakistan pricing will ultimately depend on vivo's local configuration, taxes, exchange rates, and whether all three storage variants are introduced. vivo has yet to confirm the Y31T 5G or provide an official launch date. Still, the emergence of detailed hardware specifications, memory configurations, colour names and apparent product imagery generally indicates that a device is progressing towards a commercial launch. The preceding vivo Y31 5G was introduced in September 2025, providing a useful reference point for the series' release cycle. Based on the current stage of leaks, the vivo Y31T 5G could make its first international appearance between late August and October 2026. If Pakistan is included in vivo's subsequent regional rollout, a local launch could reasonably take place during October to December 2026, although there is currently no official confirmation that the handset will be released in the country.
