○…男子８００メートルは日本選手権覇者の萬野が力を示して勝ちきった。関大勢がこの種目で勝つのは５９大会ぶり。初のシニアでの日本代表として臨むアジア大会が控える中で「優勝しないといけないプレッシャーはあったが、そのプレッシャーを楽しみながら走れた」と納得の口ぶりだった。
