Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari said that residents of Attock came out in large numbers to express their gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her development initiatives. The completion of development projects worth over Rs28 billion in the district reflects the Chief Minister's vision and commitment to public service. Azma Bokhari said that several development projects had been completed in Attock, including the upgradation of schools, urban beautification initiatives, the introduction of Green Buses, Maryam Nawaz Clinics, and the construction and rehabilitation of roads. She said the benefits of these initiatives were reaching people directly. The Information Minister said that Maryam Nawaz Sharif was repeatedly reaching out to the public and receiving widespread affection and appreciation. She said the public response reflected recognition of tangible performance. The scenes witnessed at public gatherings, she added, had become a source of concern for the government's opponents and critics. Bokhari said that accepting criticism from propaganda cells without examining the facts was not a sound approach. In today's digital age, facts are readily available in the form of videos and other verifiable evidence. It is therefore essential to establish the truth before accepting any criticism or claim. She further said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had aptly summed up the difference between those who come to power through the people's votes and those who assume power with the backing of an establishment figure, expressing the distinction in a single sentence. A mandate rooted in public support and service, she said, was the true source of political strength.
