Residents in Arklow and a number of surrounding areas are set to be affected by two planned electricity outages as ESB Networks carries out upgrade works.
The outages will take place on Monday, August 24, and Sunday, August 30, with power due to be interrupted between 9am and 5pm on both days.
Areas affected include Annagh, Clogga, Coolgreaney, Inch, Johnstown, Kilanerin, Kish, Moneyland and Thomastown, as well as surrounding areas.
ESB Networks said Monday's outage is required to facilitate ongoing upgrades to the local 20kV electricity network, while the outage the following Sunday will allow upgrade works to be carried out at Tinahask 38kV Station.
