A Dragon Ball Luggage Collection Is Dropping This Month

Dragon Ball fans have been spoiled by many unique collabs and merch drops over the past four decades, and this trend doesn't look to be stopping any time soon, as the past year alone has seen everything from a fast food crossover to themed kicks. Now, traveling will be made even more stylish for fans of Goku and friends. Akira Toriyama's magnum opus needs no introduction, with the original manga series having run in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The series has since transformed from a simple martial arts adventure series into a formidable media franchise, with its total estimated revenue in the realm of $10.7 billion. From trading cards and action figures to video games, the series has also inspired countless merch drops, with the recent Dragon Ball Converse crossover proving wildly popular with fans globally. Fans may be tempted, yet again, to open their wallets this month, especially if they have trips planned later in the year. The dub actors for every country are a big reason why Dragon Ball remains such a hit, but that isn't stopping Toei from firing them. The Japanese retail chain Sac's Bar has announced a new Dragon Ball-inspired luggage and bag collection, which will go on sale September 15, 2026. Both nylon and canvas tote bags, shoulder bags, and backpacks are available, ranging in price from ￥7,590 (around $49) to ￥9,790 (around $63). Perhaps the most exciting addition to the collection is two suitcases featuring Goku and his Flying Nimbus, available in both orange and black iterations and featuring built-in drink holders and an expanded capacity function. These range in price from ￥19,800 (around $127) to ￥22,000 (around $141). All items can be purchased on the official website, with the option for international shipping via WorldShipping. Earlier this month, the release date for Episode 1 of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was officially revealed, with fans urged to mark October 11, 2027 on their calendars. The series will remake Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, and the Universe 6 Saga, though it will be streamlined, coming in at 20 episodes rather than the original 40. That isn't the only thing on the roster, as Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, a direct sequel to the Universe Survival Arc, will also be released in the near future, with many fans predicting a late 2027 or early 2028 premiere.
