Community spirit flows as volunteers roll up sleeves to tackle drainage in Ballindaggin

A local representative got his hands dirty in order to give a helping hand to the community. During recent drainage works taking place at Shroughmore Cross in Ballindaggin, Cllr Pat Kehoe jumped into the trench to help make progress on the works. A member of the Ballindaggin Development Group said it was great seeing all members of the community getting involved in making the area better for residents. 'A special word of appreciation to Cllr Pat Kehoe who didn't just offer support - he got into the trench with us and helped get the job done. That kind of hands-on commitment to the community deserves recognition,' they said. 'A sincere thank you also to Thomas, Glen, Gavin, and Joe for giving up their time and putting in tremendous effort to complete the works. Community projects simply wouldn't happen without volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves.'
