Heavy rain in Islamabad and Sialkot on Wednesday caused operational problems at several airports, resulting in delays to 62 flights, according to the flight schedule. According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a total of 44 domestic and international flights have also been cancelled today. Flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad have faced delays of up to 15 hours. Twelve flights from Karachi, 13 from Lahore and 18 from Islamabad were delayed. Six flights from Multan, five from Peshawar, five from Sialkot and three from Faisalabad were also delayed. Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-741 from Jeddah to Islamabad was delayed by 15 hours, while flight PK-714 from Madinah was delayed by 11 hours. Islamabad-Dubai flights PA-216 and PA-217 were delayed by up to five hours, while flight PA-210 from Islamabad to Dubai was delayed by 13 hours. Five flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Sialkot were delayed by up to three hours. Karachi-Lahore flight PA-406, Islamabad flight PA-201 and flight 9P679 were each delayed by four hours.
