LAHORE - The water flow in all rivers of Punjab is normal, the water level in the Indus, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Sutlej rivers is normal, the PDMA spokesperson said on Friday. According to the PDMA spokesperson, the water flow in the rivers of Dera Ghazi Khan is also normal, however, a low-level flood situation persists at the Pulkho Wazirabad drain. The discharge of water in the Pulkho drain has been recorded at 2,800 cusecs. According to the PDMA, Tarbela Dam is 100 percent full while Mangla Dam is 75 percent full. DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia has appealed to the citizens to take precautionary measures in view of the weather and possible flood situation. The DG PDMA has directed citizens to avoid visiting and entertaining near rivers, canals and streams. He specifically asked parents to take care of their children and never let them bathe in rivers and streams. Tags:
