A Guelph man is facing charges after the fallout of a dispute was a broken finger suffered by his roommate's girlfriend. Guelph police said on Sept. 1, just after 7 p.m., officers were called to an apartment near Willow Road and Bagot Street where the resident reported he has been having issues with a roommate and asked the other man to move out. The resident reportedly smashed a television before trying to force his way into the man's bedroom. During a struggle, the man's girlfriend got her finger jammed in the door, fracturing it. The resident, 42, was arrested Friday and charged with assault causing bodily harm and mischief under $5,000.Error! Sorry, there was an error processing your request.
