LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) Commissioner Lahore Nauman Yousaf on Sunday visited various centers where the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) was being conducted and reviewed arrangements for candidates.
Deputy Commissioner(DC) Lahore,Muhammad Ali Ejaz accompanied him during visits to Punjab University halls, Intermediate board centers and other examination centers.
The commissioner inspected traffic flow,security arrangements,checking counters,waiting areas for parents and washroom facilities at the centers.
He said the MDCAT examination had started on time and was continuing smoothly and without interruption.
He added that the establishment of NADRA verification facilities at each examination center had provided considerable convenience to students by verifying their data.
Medical camps and Rescue 1122 facilities, including ambulances, were fully operational at the examination centers,he said.
Commissioner Nauman Yousaf said Section 144 had been imposed within the designated areas of MDCAT examination centers and entry of unauthorized persons was prohibited.
He said all arrangements around the examination halls had been made in accordance with the prescribed SOPs, while supervisory and security staff were performing their duties at all centers.
Separate waiting arrangements had also been made for parents of male and female candidates,he added.
The commissioner said traffic police personnel were deployed around the examination centers to ensure smooth traffic flow while the administration would remain in the field with all necessary arrangements until completion of the examinations.
