At the Joint Warfare College in Nakuru, Commander Kenya Army, Lieutenant General David Ketter, presided over the official opening of the Senior Command Course and delivered a Lecture of Opportunity to participating officers. The engagement focused on strengthening professional competence, disciplined leadership and continuous learning, while equipping officers to effectively discharge their command and staff responsibilities. The Senior Command Course is designed to sharpen officers' analytical and decision-making skills, with emphasis on emerging threats, joint operations and asymmetric warfare. Through the course, participants are equipped to anticipate, assess and respond to increasingly complex and unpredictable security challenges, reinforcing the KDF's commitment to capable leadership and enhanced operational readiness.
