The bestselling author will publish a new romance novel next year. PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Weight for Me, due out from Blackstone Publishing in spring 2027.
The novel centers on Julissa Sanders, a woman who has always stepped up for others, whether as the eldest daughter, at her job as a PR professional or the support system behind NFL player Devon Shon. After a negative comment from Devon about Julissa's body goes viral, she puts the power in her own hands, taking back control through gym sessions, per the book's synopsis.

It's there, however, that Julissa runs into Malachi Grand, Devon's former agent who is also his complete opposite. The two form an instant connection, with Julissa finally finding someone who may see her for her true self.
J., the author of the BookTok sensation Delgato Family urban romance series, has become known for her memorable love stories. Readers are sure to find a similar gripping plot in Weight for Me, along with an important message.
