Driver, 56, recently revealed she almost died from a car accident Minnie Driver is still processing the trauma of surviving a serious car crash. Two weeks after revealing she had been involved in a 'really bad car accident' in France, the Emily in Paris actress admitted in a new Instagram update that life after the near-death experience has been far more difficult than she expected. 'Paris update. It sucks being traumatised,' Driver, 56, said in a black-and-white video posted Tuesday, August 18. 'Like you look like you're okay and you keep saying please and thank you and showing up but… You're just not okay.' The Good Will Hunting star was travelling with her friend Ben on a country road in France when another vehicle reportedly T-boned their car at speed after failing to stop at an intersection. Driver previously said she suffered a sprained neck and had been left in shock, crying 'all the time.' While she has since returned to work, the experience continues to weigh heavily on her. 'And now I'm in this club, this near-death experience club, and I really don't like clubs,' she said. The crash has also left her grappling with a 'profound sadness' and struggling to 'find meaning in the accidental.' Driver said she has tried several approaches to cope with the trauma, including EMDR and osteopathy. 'Any other tips you might have, let me know,' she told followers.
