By Georgia Newman The regular season is just around the corner for the Chatham Maroons. The team's first game is on Saturday in London against the Nationals. They'll be back home the next day for their home opener against the Komoka Kings, with puck drop set for 7 p.m. The first home game will be in support of local Food Banks. Tickets will be $5 cash with a non-perishable food item or with a minimum $5 dollar cash donation. Over the weekend, the Hockey Club announced it will be keeping ticket prices the same for the season. Adult tickets will be $12, seniors aged 65 and up will be $10, youth aged seven to 12 will be $10, and anyone under the age of six will get in for free. Seasonal tickets will also be up for grabs at the home opener game from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. They will be $225 for adults, $190 for seniors aged 65 and up and youth aged seven to 12, and $125 for players' parents. The season is looking promising, with the Maroons winning all three of their pre-season games. They beat Sarnia twice and LaSalle once.
