Red Sea Global (RSG), developer of the regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has announced the opening of Nammos Resort AMAALA. The property marks the launch of the very first hotel worldwide under the Nammos brand, until now associated with its signature beach clubs and restaurants born in Mykonos.
Set on the shores of Triple Bay, overlooking the Red Sea and Dumega Bay, the resort has been designed around the brand's 'Endless Joy' philosophy. It brings Nammos' identity to AMAALA, blending Mediterranean sophistication with a distinctly social energy.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said that Nammos Resort AMAALA strengthens the diversity of experiences on offer across the destination, bringing the unique energy of Mykonos to Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. He added that as AMAALA continues to scale up with every new opening, the arrival of Nammos reinforces RSG's ambition to build one of the world's most accomplished luxury and wellness destinations. The scheme was designed by architecture practice Foster + Partners and comprises 110 rooms and 20 private residences. Its layout draws on both the timeless character of the Cyclades and Saudi Arabia's coastal heritage, aiming to preserve privacy and comfort throughout the stay.
The Nammos Beach Club, the brand's signature venue, occupies a private island reached by a dedicated walkway or private shuttle. It recreates Nammos' characteristic atmosphere, paired with Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and panoramic sea views. Wellness, families and private residences
The resort also features the Nammos Spa, built around the 'Boundless Wellbeing' concept. Experiences on offer include night-time sound healing sessions, spa parties and skincare treatments, in keeping with the brand's social identity. A dedicated children's space, the Blu Kids Club, rounds out the family offering.
Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said that this opening represents far more than the launch of a hotel, marking the start of a new chapter for the brand. According to her, the team has taken everything Nammos is known for — its sense of occasion, hospitality and distinctive energy — and translated it into a full resort experience. Nammos Residences AMAALA also offers a collection of 20 private residences overlooking the marina, ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments to a three-bedroom penthouse. Managed by Nammos Hotels & Resorts, they provide access to the same services and facilities as the resort, including the Beach Club. Sixth opening for a fast-growing destination
Nammos becomes the sixth resort to open within AMAALA. Three further properties are expected to follow in the coming months, alongside new branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, and dining and retail venues.
The opening adds to an already busy Saudi pipeline for Red Sea Global, following the recent arrivals of Equinox Resort AMAALA and Rosewood AMAALA, as well as the signing of the forthcoming Ritz-Carlton AMAALA. Red Sea Global, a key player in Saudi regenerative tourism
RSG describes itself as an integrated real estate developer active in tourism, residential, infrastructure, transport and healthcare. Its portfolio includes The Red Sea, welcoming guests since 2023, Thuwal Private Retreat, opened in 2024, and now AMAALA, which received its first guests in 2026. RSG has also led development works at Al Wajh International Airport.
A subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), RSG forms part of Saudi Arabia's economic diversification drive under Vision 2030. AMAALA, an ultra-luxury wellness destination on the Red Sea's north-western coast, is set to eventually offer more than 1,600 rooms across nine resorts, complemented by upscale retail and dining addresses. The destination is also due to host the Corallium Marine Life Institute, a scientific and educational research centre, along with the AMAALA Yacht Club, envisioned as an international hub for luxury yachting.
