Mike's Hot Italian returns to Jersey Mike's for a limited time.
Point Pleasant-founded Jersey Mike's Subs has officially brought back its popular Mike's Hot Italian sub for a limited nationwide run, perfectly timed with the kickoff of the NFL season.
First introduced earlier this year as a menu innovation for the brand's 70th anniversary, the hot sub features ham, salami, and pepperoni chopped directly on the grill and smothered in melted provolone cheese. The sandwich is loaded with fresh-sliced grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and finished with the chain's signature Chopped Pepper Relish (CPR).
'We were excited by the response to Mike's Hot Italian when we introduced it earlier this year, and we're pleased to bring it back for our customers this fall,' Stacy Peterson, president and chief operating officer of Jersey Mike's. 'As the Official Sub Sandwich Sponsor of the NFL, football season is an important opportunity for us to connect with fans, while continuing to deliver the fresh ingredients, quality and flavor they expect from Jersey Mike's.'
Priced at $8.95 for a regular size at participating locations, the sandwich is available across the brand's footprint of more than 3,300 locations in the United States and Canada.
Capitalizing on its partnership with the league, Jersey Mike's is also launching an interactive component for football fans. MyMike's loyalty members can participate in a free-to-play NFL Predictor Game to compete for prizes, ranging from gift cards to a grand-prize Super Bowl Experience for two.
