Technique and Paradise are the opening-night winners of the 2026 Prime Minister's Cup Football Competition.
Playing at Friendship in Match #1, Technique came from a goal down to beat L&R United 2-1.
United opened the scoring in the eighth minute through a strike from Javon Young.
However, Technique hit back twice before half-time through Player of the Match Tarell Nightengale in the 14th, and then Zaiden Hackett in the 33rd.
In Match #2, Paradise comfortably defeated Pro-Shottas Soccer School 2-nil, with Tyrese Crawford breaking the deadlock in the 28th, and Player of the Match Jaron Oughterson sealing the deal in the 90th after Sheran Hoyte missed a late penalty.
This year's tournament, which will once again have a cash prize of $100,000, attracted the presence of Acting Prime Minister, the Honourable Santia Bradshaw, Minister of Sports Charles Griffith and Senator Shane Archer.
The PM Cup continues on Friday night with a double-header at Orange Hill.
Bagatelle will face Cave Hill at 7 p.m. before defending champions Weymouth Wales kick-start their campaign against Notre Dame at 9 p.m.
