A MOTORIST has been caught on camera diving over a footbridge in Glasgow. In scenes hard to believe, the red car is seen driving slowly over the Anderston Footbridge. Advertisement The car entered the bridge from Waterloo Street to the east and crossed over the M8 motorway. The clueless driver was spotted by an eyewitness haplessly heading over the bridge after it entered from the eastern side at Waterloo Street. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Thank you! Once it hit the narrow part of the bridge, towards Argyle Street on the west side, the car had to carryout some tight manoeuvres to u-turn and head back. One eyewitness watched the whole bizarre incident unfold from his nearby office window. He said watching the driver perform 'a 15-point turn' had 'gave us all a good laugh'. It's not known who the driver is or where they were trying to get to when they took the wrong turn. The Anderston Bridge has been nicknamed the 'Bridge to Nowhere' after it was finally completed in 2013.
