Karachi temperatures set to rise over next three days

Karachi residents are likely to experience hotter and more humid weather conditions over the next three days as temperatures are expected to rise across the city. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department's (PMD), Karachi will remain hot and humid during this period. The maximum temperature could reach 38°C on Sunday and climb further to around 39°C on Monday. Temperatures could reach 39°C The latest forecast indicates a noticeable rise in daytime temperatures after several days of humid weather in the provincial capital. Karachi has already experienced spells of unusually warm weather this month. On September 15, the PMD forecast temperatures between 35°C and 37°C, while the previous day's maximum had reached 39.5°C. The maximum temperature could rise to 38°C on September 20 and 39°C on September 21. Hot and humid weather is expected to continue during the three day forecast period. The PMD's Flood Forecasting Division said mainly dry weather is expected across most parts of Pakistan during the week from September 20 to 26. A fresh westerly weather system is expected to begin affecting upper parts of the country from September 24. The forecast shows that the northern mountainous regions may experience partly cloudy skies from Sunday afternoon. Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to remain dry, with slightly warm conditions during the day.
