The issue is affecting some departing flights, although arrivals are not currently impacted. A spokesman for National Air Traffic Services (Nats) said: "We are investigating a technical issue which is causing some disruption to flight departures. "Our engineers are on site and we will provide an update as soon as we can. "We apologise for the delay this will cause to journeys, passengers should check with their airline on the status of their flight." Norwich Airport has two scheduled departure remaining today, a Loganair flight to Abderdeen scheduled for 4.15 that is expected to take off at 5.15pm, and a KLM flight to Amsterdam at 5.20pm, which has been delayed nearly two hours and is expected to depart at 7.09pm. It is not confirmed whether this delay is directly related to the air traffic control issue. A spokesman for Norwich Airport said: 'Advice for passengers is please check with their airline for the latest.' Three arrivals into Norwich are currently unaffected, including two flights from Amsterdam and one from Heraklion.
