Dr. Tariq Fazal Congratulates Najeeb Naqi Khan On Nomination As AJK President

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Wednesday congratulated Dr Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan on his nomination as President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). In a message posted on X, the federal minister said the nomination of Dr Najeeb Naqi Khan by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was a welcome step. He said the nomination reflected the confidence of the party leadership in Dr Najeeb Naqi Khan's political and public services. Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry expressed hope that Dr Najeeb Naqi Khan would play an effective role in the development of AJK and the welfare of its people. He also conveyed his best wishes to Dr Najeeb Naqi Khan after he was directed to submit his nomination papers.
