The organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence through professional attire, networking and development tools is moving into a bigger location near the Landmark district and Orchard Park Shopping Centre. On Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., community members, partners and supporters will gather for an open house at 1929 Kent Road. 'We've been building toward this moment for some time,' said Lori Stevenson, executive director. 'Our new home gives us the opportunity to expand what we do and deepen our impact.' The new location offers expanded space for career and personal development, workshops, professional styling and community collaborations. 'We're incredibly proud of what this community has helped us build,' said Stevenson. 'But the new space is only part of the story. We have some exciting announcements to make about the future of our organization, and September 16 is the perfect time to share them.' Dress for Success Kelowna has been supported women and gender-diverse individuals across the Okanagan since 2019. It's headquarters was previously located on Cooper Road.
