The Master's University women's soccer team put together its most complete performance of the young season on Saturday, Sept. 5, blanking Stanton 4-0 at Reese Field to move its record to 1-1-1. It was the first game of the year for 2025 GSAC Player of the Year Maddy Traylor , who got on the board with her first goal of the season. The Lady Mustangs wasted little time applying pressure. Bryanna Elias broke the 0-0 tie in the ninth minute, knocking in her first goal of the season. Just 10 minutes later, Breanna Fajardo doubled the advantage, finishing a pass from Traylor to send the Lady Mustangs into the half up 2-0. The two would swap roles right out of the break as Traylor buried her goal off a Fajardo assist in the 46th minute. Taya Pickup capped things off in the 78th minute, again set up by Fajardo, who turned in a standout day with a goal and two assists. It was Pickup's first career goal. The Lady Mustangs out-shot Stanton by a 30-8 margin and put 15 shots on goal compared to just two for the Elks. Goalkeeper Natalia Ramirez put together a strong first half, needing only two saves to preserve the first-half shutout. Katie Snow entered in the second half and also kept the Elks scoreless. Four different Mustangs found the back of the net, despite missing regular starter Kegan Brunnemann . TMU will look to carry that momentum into Tuesday, Sept. 8 when it hosts Westcliff University at Reese Field. For more information visit GoMustangs.com. Like this: Like Loading…
