Reports Say Imran Khan's Health Deemed Satisfactory

A government medical team comprising doctors from Shifa Hospital and PIMS examined the former prime minister in jail. RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) A special medical team comprising doctors and paramedical staff departed after conducting a complete medical examination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founding chairman Imran Khan, who is detained at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail. According to media reports, a joint medical team comprising specialists and paramedical staff from Shifa Hospital and PIMS reached Adiala Jail with modern medical equipment. The special medical team was headed by senior PIMS doctor Arif Khan. The team conducted a thorough medical examination of Imran Khan inside the jail, including detailed tests of his blood pressure, cholesterol and, particularly, his eyes. Citing sources, reports said the doctors expressed complete satisfaction with Imran Khan's health after the examination. Upon completion of the medical check-up, the team declared his overall health satisfactory, expressed satisfaction and departed after preparing its report.
