Bimbo Book Club: The Guest

Emma Cline's The Guest is about a twenty-two-year-old woman drifting through the Hamptons on borrowed access. She is beautiful enough to get into rooms she would never normally enter, but that access can disappear the second somebody stops wanting her there. A very bimbo breakdown of beauty as leverage, class anxiety, older men, and the difference between being invited in and actually belonging.
