When is a time-saving robot not a time-saving robot? When it performs tasks you never, ever perform yourself.
Ecovacs' new Winbot W3 Omni window-cleaning robot is a case in point. Getting it to clean the windows in the Digital Life Labs – many of which haven't been cleaned since we moved here in 2007 – has not saved us a lick of time. There was no time to save. It shaved zero seconds off the zero seconds we had previously been spending on window cleaning.
